MAC Influencer Guide

Welcome to the MAC Influencer Program

We are excited to have you join the Midland Athletic Company (MAC) Team. As an Influencer, you will be an ambassador of our complete brand. Here at MAC, our products and services are all geared towards promoting health and wellness through fitness, nutrition and education.  You will be instrumental not only in promoting MAC but also a healthy & active lifestyle for our families and communities.

WHO CAN JOIN

We're looking for people who can best represent the MAC brand in the social media community. This program is ideal for: 

  • people with a passion for fitness
  • people with a passion for nutrition 
  • people who want to inspire others to be healthy
  • people who love to support local business
  • people who love to shop at Midland Athletic Company
  • people with a current social media presence. 
  • people with an active Instagram account

PERKS

When you sign on as an influencer, you will enjoy credits at the MAC Shop and  the Wellness Bar for as long as you meet all the requirements during the quarterly checkpoints.

Sign-on Bonus: $120 in MAC credits  (to be eligible: you must complete your 1st content session)

QUARTERLY CHECKPOINT REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Tag MAC 15 times in posts or stories.
  • Submit 15 photos/videos (can include pro race pics). 
  • Brand social media pages -- Instagram, Facebook, Strava with links.
  • Attended a content session & booked a follow-up session.
  • If attending a race/athletic event, wear MAC gear and tag MAC. 
  • Accept all collaboration requests.

You will be eligible for up to $120 in MAC credits depending on the number of MAC-related posts you create and share:

1-10  posts   = $40 credit 

10-20 posts  = $80 credit

20-30 posts = $120 credit 

Aside from the above, you will also receive tons of other freebies and perks along the way (Ex: free item when we bring in new brands of clothing and accessories. Free race registration to MAC races, etc.)

 

REPRESENTING MAC

As a representative of Midland Athletic Company, we expect you to do the following: 

  • Wear our products during races, community events, etc. List of our MAC Shop brands are here. 
  • Add Midland Athletic Company Sponsored Athlete or Midland Athletic Company  Influencer to your bio on Facebook, Instagram and Strava.
  • Tag us:  Use @midlandathleticco on your personal posts regarding shoes and apparel  OR @macwellnessbar regarding food and drink
  • Please do not post or promote brands not sold at Midland Athletic Company (Nike, Adidas, Fabletics). 

CONTENT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

As our new influencer, please ensure that your photos and videos are in high quality with good lighting to best represent our brand. 

  • Refrain from making any non-MAC Shop brands visible
  • No nudity, not in the dark, no text on photos
  • No need to add music on videos when sending since we can only use Royalty Free music on our channel
  • Keep it fun!

HOW TO SUBMIT CONTENT: Please send all content through iCloud MAC album. 

MOOD BOARD

There are three themes we want you to focus on: SHOP-WELLNESS-PERFORM

Need inspiration? Below are some examples of what you can post. We can also discuss ideas on what to post during your first content session. We encourage you to be as creative as you can be! 

 

THEME 1 - SHOP

 Posed Photos in the latest apparel including shoes and clothing. Reels based on an active lifestyle.

 

THEME 2 - WELLNESS

Posed photos with food, smoothies and superfoods. Information focused reels on eating well. 

 

THEME 3 - PERFORM

 Your workout selfies, finish line videos, latest MAC purchase, all make great material!  

  

HOW TO JOIN 

In just a few steps, you can begin your adventure as a MAC influencer! 

Step 1 - Fill in the Contact Form below. 

Step 2 - Read, sign the Influencer Agreement and email it back to admin@midlandathleticcompany.com. Click here to download the PDF>> 

Step 3 - Our marketing team will be reaching out to you to schedule a content session with you. During this time we will be taking photos & creating reels. You don’t need to worry about wearing certain clothes as you will be modeling the latest in store products. These sessions will occur every 1-3 months. 

 Step 4 -  Submit your own content. See content submission guidelines above.
